There are reports Donald Trump has said he would like America to take over control of Gaza and turn it into a "freedom zone".

I hope he means the US controlling Gaza for the Palestinians and not as previously mentioned turning it into a "Riviera" style resort while moving the Palestinians elsewhere.

This could be a good solution as the Israeli government under Netanyahu treat the Gazans terribly & it does seem to confirm reports Trump has fallen out with Netanyahu.

Seems significant that he announces this after visiting Qatar who support & host Hamas.
