TRUMP 3 Days, 13 Hours ago
Just maybe, not a fool overall.

Dramatically changed the world economic structure, in a few weeks.

Until recently, USA gave assistance to 179 countries, including South Africa.

Now most countries watch the Trump government decisions - very closely!

A broken clock is right twice a day Barney, I do agree with you on this.

I don't like Steven Crowder, but I have been watching his videos on Rumble about Trump's trade deals.

His deals are pissing off the far the left.

It's like he's thrown a hand grenade into the world order.

Now backtracking or backing down.

Walmart, the world's largest retail outlets (their stores are like an Aladdin's Cave of goods) has announced prices will rise in the next few weeks. 70% of their goods are imported from their Chinese factories, 30% food from Mexico.

That will be because they stopped importing with the 140% tariffs. As Trump supporters, maybe the owners the Walton family had a word with him.

The majority of aid given to Africa and elsewhere by the USA was actually the US government purchasing US grown food, medicines & goods from US corporations, farmers etc.

Poor Africa..looted by the West for 200 years while the people suffer.

Any fool can dramatically change the world economic structure in a few weeks if he or she has the power. A chimpanze could.

I don't understand your logic or point at all Al.

I agree with Hedda on Africa.

Admiring someone for not giving back or helping others, is not attractive to my mind.

But sadly is seen as "strength" by very many.

Re:TRUMP 2 Days, 23 Hours ago
There is a glaring contradiction in Trump's actions.

He claims China is flooding the US with cheap goods.

This is true and certainly not Trump's doing. Every US president since JFK has watched as corporate America went off shore for cheap labour in Asia.

And the monied class and stock market investors who invest in these corporations have been rewarded with tax cuts.

Trump claims that he will be able to cut or even abolish income tax with the funds raised by tariffs/income duty.

And that American manufacturers will return to the US building factories and so on.

But if that were to happen (it would take years and years) and the US became a manufacturing giant again, then the funds from tariffs / import duties would obviously dry up meaning the only way the US government could raise funds, is via income tax.

If course he says a lot of things that may not be based on reality.

"So groceries? Groceries are some things in a bag, yeah?" D Trump. So he's never been shopping for groceries in his entire life. No concept whatsoever of the heart beating faster at the checkouts as you know you've got too much stuff. Or as a youth---not enough stuff and not enough money. Bet he's never had to pan boil his socks and prepare a Vesta
Beef curry.

I don't admire Trump - just think the world wanted the USA to be the 'fixer of last resort' for too long.

Solving so many world conflicts - instead of the UN - and proping up over 170 countries financially, every year.

Dependence on the USA had to stop sometime - they sorted Korea, Vietnam, Iran, Iraq, WWII etc. And so many more.

Trump favorite Kid Rock told his workers at his very successful hamburger restaurant to stay home for the day as he expected an ICE Immigration raid.

Meanwhile Mar A Lago has applied to US Immigration for visas for 9 imported workers.

Trump reckons Bruce Springstein is "over-rated", not very good and looks like a dried prune.

Trump says petrol is an all time low at $2 a gallon. The average price is $4.40.

Give him his due..the price of eggs has gone down.
For now.

Music-wise, I have always favoured Kid Rock, even in the early days when rap metal was in its infancy. Which sprang from Nu-Metal and Industrial. I never did like Limp Bizkit.

Bruce Springsteen is just Dad Rock like Boston, ELO, The Who, Eagles and Journey. Springsteen did piss a lot of people with is hypocrospy. I think Springsteen is a great songwriter like Dylan, but as a lead singer, yuck. I remember when I was courting my partner, we spoke about music. One thing she said was "If you like Bruce Springsteen, there is no hope".

I dated a woman before her, who loved Springsteen to the point it became unbearable; she liked other music, but every time I got in her car, it was either Springsteen, Deftones or Papa Roach. Mind you, Papa Roach is a decent band, though, I can tolerate Deftones. We had very little in common, which is why it ended after 6 months.

No one has a problem with legal migrants, it's the illegal ones. If you want a visa or move to a country, go down the legal route and contribute. Don't sponge of the estate and make money from gang banging and drugs.

MAGA voting farmers, 1000s of them, have relied on undocumented labour for years. As does it seem, Kid Rock. 1000s of US businesses likewise. They like paying very cheap wages without required benefits.

Not sure how the US "sorted" Vietnam, Iraq, Korea when it was the US actively invading and killing millions of innocent people on their insane quest to stop Communism or trying to control their assets but failing in the process.

Or the endless undermining of South American countries.
And often failing as they did with tiny Cuba.

It's quite bizarre but the millions of deaths of innocent people killed by the USA are not accepted as being as bad as others who have committed atrocities.

Meanwhile Mr Trump is claiming Taylor Swift is "no longer hot". That's someone's 78 year old grandfather commenting on the sexiness of a young female. So funny.

Now Trump is telling the largest retailer in the world to absorb the tariffs and basically slash their profit.

Hardly Capitalism but more like a directorate from Party Central.

He has completely bungled the tariff situation and caused complete chaos for retailers.

Even absorbing 30% tariffs would be impossible for any retailer let alone 140% which would have hiked prices to 3 times.

There are still 10,000s of workers being laid off on the supply chain, docl workers truckers etc.

The Kid Rock matter is one of hypocrisy.

I have no idea about his music but I do like Springstein.

The report on Kid Rock's hamburger joint says he employs undocumented labour which his pal Trump rails against.

But even if they are legal..and obviously are Latino or from elsewhere..sending them home is an admission that the awful ICE goons under Trump's orders are picking up legal immigrants and deporting them.

And how did he get wind of ICE raids?

And by sending them home..whatever their status, he's actually interfering with law enforcement as ordered by Trump.

Maybe it was a manager that did all this.

Trump actually isn't yet deporting illegals at the same rate Biden did and neither have matched Obama's record.

Now he wants to send a million Palestinians to war ravaged Libya. The logistics of this would be mind blowing.

And he says that would free up $Billions in Libyan oil funds withheld by the US. But under what authority does the US withhold Libyan funds for years?

Although Qaddafi was a brutal dictator he spent Libya's oil money on the people who had a good lifestyle with generous benefits.

Now it's just ruled by warring factions. Another US / UK success.

Kid Rock does not own the restaurants, he has his name on them for advertising/publicity purposes. He probably received a nice, fat cheque for the use of his name. Not many would turn money down if the price is right for the usage of names, TM and licences.

KISS made millions for putting their name and brand on everything and anything you can think of and they sold the name for a shit load of millions.

A man named Steve Smith owns the establishments. He is probably not in charge of recruiting staff, but he probably picks who will be the next manager/supervisor in the restaurants.

I did not actually believe Kid Rock ran his own restaurant.

Even if it's licensed it still acts under his authority and he bears the brunt of what happens there.

I'm sure lengthy contracts were signed stating exact terms of operation.

Just as McDonalds does with it's privately owned outlets.

It's Kid Rock's reputation on the line but I doubt MAGA fans give a stuff what happens there.

Hypocrisy comes to mind.

I still laugh that a 78 year old raddled, pock faced man who applies ghastly orange make-up badly each morning calls another who has sold 140 million records and won 20 Grammys to date, a "raddled prune".

Or thinks because he deemed it, one of the most successful female artists of all time who is packing stadiums around the world, is no longer "hot".

I mean really. What on earth does he see when he looks in the mirror each morning to apply that make-up?

I don't think Kid Rock owns the franchise of the resturant.

Kid Rock is worth $150 million, if we cancelled he be alright I say. It's like Ricky Gervais, people can stop going to his shows etc but his bank account will always be fucking gigantic.

Trump and Springsteen is just another clash who has the most billions. Springsteen made a fortune acting and pretending to be like the Average American, a bit like Kevin Costner.

I am sure MAGA, as you say Hedda can separate a man's private life and his art. Libtards cant seem to do that. If I didn't do that I would be running out of concerts to go to. Most of the gigs I have been to, the artists have always made a political rant. When I hear them go on and on, I say to myself, "Why don't you run for Congress or President instead of ranting to fans?"
