I do know the brilliant GAZA documentary should be back on the iPlayer and should be shown on BBC1 Prime Time but Palestinians don't appear to be offended by the ban (they are probably too busy being slaughtered). Why is our national broadcaster under the thumb of Israel? Why aren't pro Russia shows being seen? I reckon both Hamas and Russia have behaved atrociously and need sanctioning but I don't think either Israel or Ukraine are guiltless.

He is not Anti-semitic and neither am I for expressing great concern about the daily torture and murder of Gazans. I disagree Cat, I think there's a lot of antisemitism in the media and on here. There is a lot of bias, people don't like the facts about Hamas either. Tommy exposed the police corruption of Muslim grooming gangs years before the BBC with Three Girls and the MSM.

For me Gary is an example of the very best of British - with the same characteristics of the families who welcomed the children in KinderTransport, before the war forced decency on many. That kindness and automatic corage is precisely the same as his sympathy for the victims being killed by Netanyahu's storm troopers.

I thing NATO should send 100,000 peace keeper soldiers into Gaza today to open the borders for the aid transports and help rebuild society essentials.

The hatred expressed by Gary Lineker was towards the starvation and genocidal policies being adopted by the Netanyahu government

If someone doesn't agree with a particular policy of the Israeli state it doesn't make them an antisemite. There are quite a few devout Jewish people around the world and also in Israel itself who don't agree with the actions being taken in Gaza

The mood appears to have shifted with Starmer etc now calling for aid to enter Gaza.

As they should if they don't want history to condemn them.

I wonder how much of this is to do with Trump's sudden cooling of his relationship with Netanyahu.

I don't think there has been anti-semitism on this site. I think there has not been enough clear condemnation of Hamas as well as the Israeli State by many posters, although the host himself has been balanced in this.

While the accumulated weight of this approach can feel like anti-semitism it is not.

It is horror at Israel's actions but at the same time giving too much credence to Hamas as victims.

The defamatory falsehood that criticism of Israel's actions is "antisemitic" is an anathema and falsehood.

It's akin to saying anyone who criticizes Starmer. Farage or Badenoch for their actions, is "anti-British".

And there are some real shockers in the current hard right Israeli government with some Israeli government ministers calling for the genocide of Palestinian people including one scary female Minister who called for the total culling of Palestinian children.

The ghastly "settlers" operate with impunity in the West Bank as they steal and sometimes kill the Arab house owners with total impunity as they break Israel law.

The current Israel government just scraped in so they represent only half the people if that these days.

100,000s of Israelis protest the Palestinian genocide but and their own government but they rarely get a mention except perhaps in the 2 Israeli publications that don't support Netanyahu.
