I really can't stand Elon Musk but I know others like him. He should have resigned as CEO of Tesla when he took on DOGE.

My friend took me shopping again yesterday in his new Tesla. It was so comfortable, smooth and quiet.

But the IPAD thingie in the centre of the console pissed me off as he kept looking at it. You have to use it to change the radio and even adjust the wing mirrors.

Why? What has Elon got against good old buttons and indicator things? Even the new Rolls Royces still have buttons. Lots of them.

This is really a design flaw and I was at all times really worried about the lithium batteries beneath where you sit. The lithium fires are fearsome.

My regular Chinese taxi driver raves about the Chinese BYD brand which he reckons sells millions in China where around 60% of cars are EVs.

He visited China recently and attended their Motor Show where he said there were dozens of gorgeous EVs including self driving trucks that are actually on the roads there.
