After a day long visit to hospital for tests I'm exhausted.

But very pleased I passed the cognitive test ( Elephant, lion etc) which is the exact same one Donald Trump raves about.

It's a standard cognitive test given around the world especially in geriatric wards to determine if one might be heading for dementia.

It's not even very hard but I suppose if you mistake that Elephant for a Tesla car it may indicate trouble.

Did Trump really pass it? Who knows as he never releases his medical reports even though Congress usually demands it.

Trump does seem physically fit if overweight. But mentally? He does say the oddest things and makes bizarre announcements not always based on fact.

From watching now 2 close friends who have been diagnosed with dementia and watching them gradual deteriorate over 2 years, I reckon Trump has it.

Biden came across to me as physically fragile but pretty well on the ball. Remarkable though how he managed to have more hair than when he was 40 and somehow lost the bags under his eyes.

Cannot forgive Biden though for arming Israel's decimation of Gaza.

I cringed at how he ambushed Cyril Ramaphosa with completely false and intentionally misleading slides and pictures of alleged White Farmers genocide. It was akin to the Zelensky meet, but even worse. And then chooses to stay silent over the actual continuing genocide of Gazans. 123 days and it's a total shambles Donny.

Rory Stewart says (video below) that he was told something about Biden by a UK cabinet minister but told not to talk about it at the time. About 12 months before the US election, Biden had had a meeting with UK ministers and had spent a few minutes at the start of the meeting introducing himself. He'd then been called out of the meeting for about 5 minutes by an aide. When he returned to the meeting, he'd gone through the whole process of introducing himself again.

It was apparently because Biden didn't recognise him, after knowing him for 15 years, that George Clooney decided to speak out and say he shouldn't run for re-election.

Then there was the poor debate performance with Trump where he did seem confused.

I saw an interview with Biden recently where he seemed frail, but on the ball. But it sounds as if he's not on the ball all the time.

He probably has cognitive decline which is pretty normal for that age.

hell I've got it and many tasks now seem far too difficult. I'm riddled with a disease of course so I don't know how much that affects the brain.

I thought Biden was far too old to run again. Even though Trump is nearly the same age he appears quite physically fit for his age although I notice he stoops a lot more. The Democrats have been hopeless relying on Biden at his age.
