...Johnson pleaded guilty to distributing a recording intending thereby to stir up racial hatred...
Nick Price, Director of Legal Services at the Crown Prosecution Service, said: “People thinking of disseminating or amplifying information online which is racially inflammatory should think again – online actions have real consequences.
“There is no place for trying to stir up racial hatred and violence online at any time, let alone during this disorder. We are working closely with local law enforcement agencies to identify offenders to be charged and prosecuted.
“The CPS will continue to act swiftly and robustly and ensure those responsible for such criminality are brought to justice.”
The law recognises five types of hate crime on the basis of:
Race
Religion
Disability
Sexual orientation
Transgender identity
Any crime can be prosecuted as a hate crime if the offender has either:
demonstrated hostility based on race, religion, disability, sexual orientation or transgender identity
Or
been motivated by hostility based on race, religion, disability, sexual orientation or transgender identity
...

I don't see why anyone should have any sympathy for this character, unless they think that race should be excluded from the law on hate crime or that hate crime and stirring up hatred and violence should be legalised.

I'll watch this later but I'm a tad sick of these Youtube "pranksters" and influencers (sorry JK).
Youtube, Tik Tok etc are just full of absolute dills puling inane "pranks" and bizarrely they have legions of fans following their inane antics. They can of cours emake good money.
Bizarre sign of the times, people living vicariously through he antics of idjits.

Charlie Vietch is like a human car crash; you can't help but watch him at times. He runs to the police when he can after someone fights back.
I liked him at first, but he loves to annoy people to get reactions to upload. I went off him when he insulted two gents who came to help a woman who was ill in Manchester. Then hinting to the man that the blue is a nonce.

Downing Street Cat wrote: Charlie Veitch--what an absolute disgusting a hole. I was longing for someone to deck him in those clips. And I'm not a violent cat. Thank you GM.
You are welcome Cat, he is not liked in Manchester, he is too friendly with the police, but he is happy demeaning people with serious mental health problems and addictions. He admits he needs content for his channel for money.
Oddly, it seems most people can do their tasks in the city centre without issues, but trouble always comes his way.

Charlie Veitch is a bully with a camera.
Social media has given license to society's nitwits to create havoc and be downright nasty to others while financially rewarding them.
There are currently 2 high profile cases where so-called "pranksters" are awaiting court appearances abroad who are subjects of YouTube videos.
Johnny Somali is being pursued in the South Korean courts for insulting citizens even though he was deported from Japan for the same.
Russian Vitaly who has apparently made a fortune for his harassing videos is languishing in a Filipino jail and faces years there for harassing Philippine citizens on the street.
