There are credible reports that one third of Tel Aviv has been damaged by Iranian rockets..many fires. And many passenger planes at Ben Gurion airport have been bombed.
I think Israel has badly underestimated Iran.
I hate all this. I don't want to see Israelis, Palestinians or Iranians killed or hurt.
It does not matter who has underestimated whom, but all war needs to stop, but it won't as a fortune is to be made. Starmer is probably rubbing his hands in glee as a war will distract us from his dirty doings and scandals.
The government can't protect the Kent coast, but it can protect Ukraine and the Middle East. Will the boatie people be cannon fodder, or will it be the students and the unemployed?
The problem is Netanyahu and the Zionist Extremists. And I don't believe they did under estimate Iran, they were hoping Trump would unleash shock and awe upon them within a few days. Trump has been stalled. As much as I hate it too, this hopefully will equal the beginning of the end for Netanyahu. An evil, sadistic and very arrogant monster. Starving people still being attacked in Gaza whilst waiting for bags of grain.A Western leader with Balls still needed.
It seems to me the Israelis, probably out of necessity due to the small size of the country, have placed very important facilities in the middle of cities like Tel Aviv.
Now there is a report Iran has bombed & the destroyed the Microsoft which Israeli secret services rely on.
It seems Israel has had a secret cell operating within Iran and they were able to locate prime locations for destruction.
But it's probably likely that Iran had similar within Israel.
The hypocrisy of the Israeli government saying Iran crossed a red line by bombing a hospital, given what Israel has been doing in Gaza, is jaw-dropping. It suggests - as if it wasn't plain enough already - that they have an apartheid attitude, considering Palestinians less than human.
