So many outstanding competitions in process - it's difficult to decide what to watch!

- Club World Cup

With The Open (golf) to come, as well as Henley and horse racing - with a lot more too....

Never did get into cricket. Did try but found it very dull. I know. Pariah. Ditto Grand Prix. Never did see the attraction. Ditto snooker. And Golf.

It's a matter of personal choice Cat; but playing some sport (any) - particularly when young - is important, and a necessary aid for development.

Snooker was great in the 70s, 80s, and 90s when players had personalities; they were household names, well-dressed, high on sponsored cigarettes and given cocaine, posh playboys but they were naughty. Not forgetting having a crafty line off the snooker table before matches. Then they were hookers and strippers on tab.

Steve Davis and Dennis Taylor are still milking the Blackball final after 40 years. Going on tour and talking about it.
