This really puzzles me.

I like George and he flopped on my floor a couple of times when he was young. So witty. And I wish him no ill will.

But he also has convictions for drugs in the US.

He served his time and is entitled to re-enter society with all the privileges that entails.

The same applies to Mike Tyson. Yet he visited Oz a couple of years ago whilst one of those airport TV programs show people being rejected by Immigration for crimes less serious than rape.
