TOPIC: Novak/Sinner/Alcaraz
#260677
Novak/Sinner/Alcaraz 3 Weeks, 3 Days ago
Let me be clear - I want Novak to win his 25th Grand Slam just to ensure he's the greatest tennis player of all time. But if it's a Sinner/Alcaraz final like it was in Paris, I want my man Jannik to beat Carlos right at the end of a five game shootout though Carlos is the most entertaining player (with the greatest smile). I've supported Sinner for about three years now.

Sinner is killing him. Time to pack up Novak, there is nothing more to prove.
I don't have anything against Novak, he's a Vegan, gluten-free man after all, but I would like Roger Federer to keep the record of most Wimbledon men's singles titles

Sinner was lucky to get past Dmitrov. At two sets down Dmitrov retired hurt.

Novak clearly seriously pulled his groin in the quarter final - he wionced as the trainer pushed it during the break - and Sinner not 100% as his elbow not right yet. My hope is that Novak wins the US Open for his 25th - my fear is that Alcaraz will destroy Sinner Sunday due to that pesky elbow. I wanted a replay of the sensational French final.

Sinner seeems to have been forgiven very quickly for his drugs ban. Sharapova got a two-year ban (reduced to 15 months on appeal) for what seemed like an oversight, Simona Halep got 9 months, whereas Sinner gets 3 months. Women's finalist Siatek also had a drugs ban of one month.
