Despite not being a fan of Women's tennis (or 3 set, no stamina tennis); I want AMANDA to win as she seems a nice girl and she beat the screaming harpy (who also, in person interview, came across as nice). This match is awful. Not just because only one player turned up but the weak, pathetic serves and static play illustrate why I don't enjoy women's tennis. Thank heavens it only three pathetic sets or, in this case, two. TWO SETS! Even I could play that. Amanda is getting crushed unfortunately. It reminds me of when Marion Bartoli ran away with the final in 2013, and her opponent Lisiki burst into tears in despair. At least its only an hour. Tomorrow it will be at least 3, even if it is straight sets. This is history in the making. The first 6-0 6-0 in the open era. Amanda couldn't hit the side of a bus today. And bursts into tears at the end, poor little girl. I hope tomorrow goes five sets and the tie break is won by Jannik but I worry that his elbow will affect him. Stamina is so vital from great tennis. Strength, Strategy and Stamina. Women only usually have one of the three.
