For three years I've rooted for this guy (as I did for Ivan Lendl's whole career and he NEVER won Wimbledon). I thought he played better than Carlos in Paris but Carlos is brilliant and going into overdrive if he can get there. However - Alcaraz wins the BEST SMILE award. But I'm delighted for Sinner. Not as great a game as the French but a good game.

I love the fact that they are both good friends off the court. I really think this is going to be a terrific rivalry with many other great matches though I don't think they can ever top the French Open final.
Also I'm really happy that my support for Italian tennis since Berrettini here at Wimbledon a few years ago (training literally feet away from my Rome base).
