Richard Tice 2 Weeks, 3 Days ago
I have met him. Three years ago in Hastings. I was invited. Blimey!!! He was attempting to champion small business. I found him arrogant, dismissive and full of very Trumpian and disturbing notions about society. He talked mainly about the Deep State of Liberalism which I later confronted him about. He had no coherent answers to what the Deep State was or the names of those involved in it. I told him it's a Unicorn. He actually laughed and walked away. This is what we are all up against. Manufactured non-existent fantasy. And of course Tice and his ilk would be disastrous for many small businesses as Brexit has been. A man who believes that climate change is a myth despite the overwhelming evidence, wants to smash Green investment, which of course would destroy many small businesses now and in the future especially. It was funny, because later on I saw him again, walking down a corridor, he saw me coming, and turned his heels and walked the other way. lol.

Very interesting that you had a meeting with Tice. I'm certainly not a fan.

I was thinking about the "Deep State" recently and how Donald Trump's promotion of it has painted him into a corner over the Epstein affair.

Although I have no clue really what happened with Jeffrey Epstein, Trump really riled up his MAGA base and it's backfiring badly.

I have a feeling there have been huge exaggerations about the whole Epstein matter (mind you over 150 claimants against his estate received about $290M in compo) and perhaps the Teflon Don will come up with the perfect distraction (war in Ukraine?)

We live in those famous Chinese "interesting times".

One thing for sure Hedda, never a dull moment with Donny. His ears can magically grow back, but I doubt he'll ever produce a Unicorn.lol

Very interesting to hear your first-hand account, DSC.

Didn't Richard Tice and Isabel Oakeshott start their relationship when they were both married to other people?

If you had that effect on Tice, maybe you could apply to take over from Larry when he retires and station yourself on the front step of Downing Street to keep Reform out.

Indeed Jo. I wasn't aware they were an item at that time. Ha ha. Yes. I seem to repel fascists. Quite proud of that super power. Lol.
