Re:Ghislaine Maxwell/Virginia Giuffre/Jeffrey Epstein 1 Month, 1 Week ago
There is also a good interview on YouTube of Maxwell with Piers Morgan (not being aggressive thankfully) where he makes extremely good points about Ghislaine who he believes was rail roaded.
Guiffe definitely lied remember by claiming Trump lawyer Dershowiz had abused her and then recanted when he sued her.
I thought Andrew was wrong to have settled but as Maxwell said, he did not want to distress The Queen. Media often claimed Andrew was her favourite.
I still think Trump has painted himself into a corner with his Deep State claims and silly claims that Clinton / Obama have made up the files,
I don't believe he is a "pedo" after all.., Stormy Daniels was a healthy looking legal aged woman.
Some former close Epstein pals say he he had satyriasis and needed sex often 4 times a day.

What Ian Maxwell says in the Piers Morgan interview is interesting (when he's allowed to speak). It's commendable that he's standing by his sister, but I wonder how well he knew her. It's evident from the Spectator interview that he was surprised to learn that she was married.

Judging from the interview below, Tina Brown is a silly gossip-mongering conspiracy theorist.
- She peddles Virginia Giuffre's stories, including the "big names" Giuffre accused, e.g. Prince Andrew, Ehud Barak and Bill Richardson (peddled when Brown edited The Daily Beast by someone called Conchita Sarnoff - her six articles were "great journalism" says Brown)
- She calls Prince Andrew and Woody Allen paedophiles (they had attended a dinner hosted by Jeffrey Epstein to which Tina Brown was invited but refused "who wants to attend a dinner for paedophiles?!")(but she doesn't call Donald Trump a paedophile - she's not that stupid)
- She claims that the CCTV footage of the door of Epstein's prison cell is spliced together from different videos and that 3 minutes is missing (more than enough time, she says, for him to be murdered)
- She implies that Virginia Giuffre (whom she clearly rates highly as a source) didn't commit suicide.

As I said Jo, Tina Brown has been the editor of some of my all time favourite US publications which I still love and I always respected her as she was also married to the great Harold Evans, editor of the Sunday Times & Times when they were terrific newspapers (before being booted by Murdoch as he dragged those papers down market).
These are very first times I've seen her interviewed and I was quite amazed that she seems to have just accepted unproved "gossip" such as the unproved Woody Allen allegations (insiders always said Mia Farrow took after her Australian father, director John Farrow who friends claimed was nuts)
Re:Ghislaine Maxwell/Virginia Giuffre/Jeffrey Epstein 1 Month ago
It seems that neither of the doors in the CCTV video was the door of Epstein's prison cell. The closest the video gets is showing a sliver of the stair leading to the area where his prison cell was. The video apparently wouldn't have captured anyone accessing the stair from a particular door hidden from the camera.
Re:Ghislaine Maxwell/Virginia Giuffre/Jeffrey Epstein 4 Weeks, 1 Day ago
That seems spot on, hedda. Her brothers and their wives have been giving interviews (available on YouTube) and they're saying exactly that. I don't know how anyone, certainly not serious journalists, can believe that she advocated for other victims, as there seems to be absolutely no evidence for that. I can't remember her even mentioning other victims in any of her interviews and her charity website seems just to be a front. In one of the documentaries about Epstein on YouTube, there's an interview with an Epstein accuser called Courtney Wild, who says that she recruited between 50 and 70 other girls for him, and feels very guilty for doing so. Giuffre claimed that, when she went to Thailand, Epstein asked her to bring a girl back. If there was a pattern of girls recruiting other girls, it seems unlikely that Giuffre wouldn't have been involved in that too and would have only ever been asked to recruit one person.
Re:Ghislaine Maxwell/Virginia Giuffre/Jeffrey Epstein 4 Weeks ago
So Maxwell has been moved to a far less harsh open prison which normally she wouldn't qualify for with her "sex offender" status.
I think Donald Trump may have succeeded in soothing the MAGA crowd who seem to just accept his often bizarre and contradictory claims such as the one Bill Clinton (and Hilary) "created " the alleged "Epstein Files" although he says they don't exist but if they do Clinton is in them dozens of times and it's all Barack Obama's fault who should be arrested and executed for treason.
Not sure how it will all play out for him with the more normal Republican voters.
Will Maxwell get a pardon?. Maybe it will not be needed as there is speculation the Trump friendly Supreme Court may vacate her conviction which apparently they can do.
A bit much Guifte's family speaking up when it was her father who delivered her to Mar a Lago and her brothers apparently stood by while she was allegedly trafficked by Epstein for a decade. Did they have any contact with her?
Re:Ghislaine Maxwell/Virginia Giuffre/Jeffrey Epstein 6 Days, 2 Hours ago
The criminologist Professor David Wilson, who's also a former prison governor, thinks Epstein committed suicide.
It's been a while since I watched it, but from what I recall, these were some of the points he made.
- A trove of documents relating to Ghislaine Maxwell's prosecution had recently been disclosed, which weren't favourable to Epstein
- He'd recently made a will
- He'd recently attempted suicide by the same method, reported by his then cellmate
- He got his cellmate out of the cell by claiming the cellmate had attacked him, then committed suicide before a new cellmate could be moved in
- Prison was badly run, so he wasn't sufficiently monitored
- The time missing from the CCTV video didn't leave enough time for him to be murdered by strangulation
