Pete Buttigieg is being mooted as a serious Democratic candidate to be the next President.

I've seen him talk many times on TV shows and he is sharp as a tack.

Makes mince meat of Fox News hosts. Always has facts and figures in his head.

Quite handsome with a pleasing persona. Never gets angry when demolishing interviewers but does it with a smile.

But is America ready for a gay president?

2 attempts to elect a woman have failed (although remember Hilary Clinton- who I do not like- got 2 million more votes than Trump)

I was very wary of Barack Obama being black (but not very black) yet he got the highest ever vote at the time.
But he's also very personable and a terrific speech giver.

Buttigieg is similar. What a wonderful notion..Buttigieg as President, Corbyn as prime Minister.
