I haven't seen the show obviously but media simply cannot resist exaggerating - they say we are saying Letby is innocent - but most are simply saying the trial was flawed (as so many are). All the comments in media talks about the case using emotive adjectives (both sides) which, surely, should NOT be made over a news issue involving alternative facts.

But the main aspect is - is the system broken or at least damaged? As a victim of it myself (once - not on the several subsequent attempts) I can confirm - it is. And a big chunk of the problem is media coverage. As you'll see in my latest volume of autobiography, 80.

I've now watched the show on iPlayer; it's pretty good, illustrating the vital point that BOTH sets of lawyers and the media cannot resist exaggerating, adapting or simply interpreting evidence so it suits their agenda. Even at the end, which is damning about the amount of tube dislodgings, the Panorama man fails to mention to the new Letby KC that this concerns ANOTHER case and has nothing to do with the appeal.

It's very easy to omit or adapt something if it might make A BETTER STORY. Which is, of course, the whole problem with society today.

And they mention the Judge's instruction on "similatr fact" evidence - something which the CPS has ALWAYS used. A terrible mistake - and it happened to me.

Evidence that I was a bisexual male attracted to teenagers was meant to prove I did things with younger people and without their consent. WRONG!!!

It is amazing - just like in the show all comments seem to ask Is Letby Innocent or Guilty and then a conclusion where NONE of us can make a decision without knowing far, far more. What is clear is - her trial was a farce, as so many are, and at very least there must be a retrial with both sides protected from media hype and interference.

Remember I've been through this THREE TIMES. First got it wrong. Second got it right, for the wrong reasons. Third - got it right after everything learned over 18 years.

Will watch later. As I have said before I was one of the idiots who believed the media reporting. Doh. I believed she was guilty. Mr Fool. Which needs to be a song title. lol.

Unimaginable? Really? Is there nobody at the BBC who could not imagine such crimes? And no viewers? Is this NEWS? Is this FACT?
