After the failed "summit" we need, as human beings, to decide what we need to do about countries killing each other.
The furst and vital problem is GAZA (and the West Bank) where Israel is killing Palestinians. Palestine must be confirmed NOW as a country and the borders specified. The United Nations must send hundreds of thousands of peace keepers into the area to move Israelis OUT of Palestine, to send the hostages NOW back to Israel (alive or dead).
The United Nations, having accomplished that, should then send those peace keepers into Ukraine to push the invaders OUT of the country.
End of...
And just to confirm, as the UN has consistantly said, also the West Bank area of Palestine must be confirmed and established. If settlers wish to remain living there, in Palestine, fine.
And a corridor linking both areas of Palestine must be opened and protected with food and medicine freely entering.
I've always been very confused about Egypt. Surely the border between it and GAZA should be open with medicine and food crossing.
Okay so Trump tried to sort something, fair enough, but why the hell did they have to bring out a red carpet on the runway for Christ's sake, and what the hell was Trump doing applauding Putin as he approached on that red carpet. Appalling. At the exact moment this was happening he was continuing to send killing drones into Ukraine to murder innocents in their own legally recognised lawful independent nation state. When Putin got in "the beast" alongside Trump I just willed the Americans to drive him off into custody to face up to his crimes at The Hague. If only.
Trump promised "very severe consequences for Russia" if they failed to agree a ceasefire or deal on Friday. So what are those very severe consequences going to be then or was it just empty threats where Putin has called his bluff?
