TOPIC: Match of the Day
#261739
Match of the Day 1 Day, 11 Hours ago
I'm a Lineker supporter (the BBC has to stop giving in to media hype) but the show is fine with new presenter (have no idea of his name - no brain space for such trivia) and both Shearer and Rooney.

What S & R both have is credibility - having each scored hundreds of goals, at the very highest levels. Lineker too.

Their analyses will be heeded, and rarely disputed. Just like JK's opinions - on matters musical.

I do like Rooney. Yes, I confess I though he might a bit thick. My bad. He is anything but. Very eloquent and is most certainly carving out a new career as a TV sports anchor. My only concern is that his own views on political events will be muted by the Gestapo at the BBC. I hope he rebels.

Second Bournemouth goal vs Liverpool one of the best ever - even though they lost; what a goal.

There's so many imponderables in the EPL - particularly the complex/foreign ownership of clubs - with full or part ownership by a country, not uncommon.

In addition to the sizes of clubs - in terms of squad sizes, grounds, income etc. Bournemouth can seat 11k spectators: ManU - 77k.

Many see problems emanating from this expanding diversity - and even the scenario in this recent link, has been superceded.
