Many councils just want the St George cross flown during World Cup and Euros, it seems you can fly flags when football is on. Like everyone likes football.

For years and years I heard the Notting Hill Carnival at the end of my street off Portobello Road and never went once to it.

I did venture out once and the entrance to my Mews was chock a block with 1000s of people so I gave up as there was no way of getting my small Mini out.

I didn't particularly mind the noise but I preferred the sounds of the Portobello market on Saturdays which I always knew was happening as someone, for years, was bizarrely learning the Tuba every Saturday. I actually miss that sound.

I'm very sympathetic to this argument, but we can be concerned about both things at the same time. It does seem that much of this country has been systematically hived off to foreign corporations and businessmen, I agree. Just look at the latest with the Post Office bought by a Czech billionaire.

We are sitting here in our own homeland and yet much foreign owned business does not have the British interest at heart, and now we have a government as well that many perceive as anti the homeland law abiding British citizen and our national interest. We are just anybody's for sale at the right price it seems, the UK has been totally pimped out against its will.

But this migration scandal is a massive problem and scandal. There has never been any consent to it. It is affecting the quality of life in this country for everyday people. What is happening is people are starting to get too used to the decline in living standards and lack of services and things not working, and they should snap out of it. It's not imaginary, it's real.
