Strange how there seem to be no photos of our esteemed former PM Tony Blair, a man in power nearly as long as Thatcher who also won three elections like her, at the White House alongside President Trump. All seems very secretive and devious to me, why the low profile for such a high profile visitor from Britain with a serving US President? I certainly can't find any official photos of his visit. He must still be this "Middle East envoy" which in itself is hard to credit given his past decisions. The Tories appointed him to that role didn't they.

It has seemed to go surprisingly quiet since those American bombing raids on Iran in June. Perhaps they've now realised they were not quite the nuclear weapons show stopper for Iran that they thought they were two months ago, although wasn't this Blair visit technically supposed to be about rebuilding Gaza after the war there?
