Starting a new thread as all the others re hotels are getting confusing.

My opinion of immigrants is well known - I'm an extremist; let them all in, whilst weeding out likely baddies but accept, welcome and even encourage most. But LEAVE THAT ASIDE.

I don't believe there are any more "baddies" amongst migrants than in the home grown population. I think most anti-immigration is disguised racism. I'm sure there are small groups of nasties using the immigrant side to stir up discontent just as there are tiny groups of nasties, often using violence to get attention, on the protest side.

All the excuses (by both sides) conceal this basic racism. Nobody, for example, seeing the broken UK legal situation can be pro-Brexit on the "take back control" excuse - could European judges get it any more wrong than British ones?

Sex, of course, trumps everything and is often used as an excuse.

There is no "culture of rapists" in any country and certainly no less by white Brits than by anyone else.

Fair enough, if you feel you don't like different skin colours or religious beliefs - just say so. Don't pretend to be decent, generous, kind human beings who are NOT racists but support human beings. It's bollocks.

Don't women suffer enough without Sharia Law, which will be happening soon. I say in 30 year the Commonwealth will be a huge caliphate state.

Just look at this GM, and this was apparently 12 years ago! Very nicely dressed regular British young woman in her Bedfordshire hometown is accused of walking the streets naked and trying to seduce men in a perfectly normal red dress outfit. She hasn't even got a cleavage showing. I might have a miniscule bit of understanding (although not much really) if she was walking the backstreets of Kabul or Jeddah, but not LUTON, ENGLAND!

Two observations Rich:

1. The woman appears to have walked over to the peaceful march promoting Sharia law and engaged with them. What did she expect them to say?

2. As you say this was 12 years ago and - personally anyway - with all the huge numbers and "takeover" we are told about - I feel no nearer to being governed by Sharia law than then.

As a result today I shall mark the end of summer and commencement of autumn in my traditional way; by parading up and down Staines high street in a mankini.

Wyot, I actually saw a quite tall and slim man in a layby at J14 of the M1 about ten years ago standing there in the full skimpy mankini and nothing else bold as brass facing the traffic. It was so bizarre and amusing. I'm amazed he didn't cause a pile up from astonished and bemused rubberneckers. The last place you'd have expected to see such a sight.

There are reports across social media right now with video and photo footage of a middle aged man walking around Staines this afternoon in a mankini at about three o'clock, I can't believe you actually meant what you said and did it!

I consider myself a very moderate and reasonable straight down the centre common sense person who believes in respect for others and common decency and fairness. I'm not bald, I don't have a beer belly and I speak like the middle class white male from a good upbringing that I am. But I nodded along to much of this. I suspect Wootton would describe himself the same as me. Yet those with moderate common sense centrist views have now had them pushed across much further right it seems to me.

Watch the cretinous woman in her car describing the protestors in such derogatory terms after the tweet from the MP is highlighted at 52m 30s. She couldn't be further from the truth in her appraisal of people all around her in this country. Ignorant and delusional, thinks she knows it all but hasn't got a clue and clearly doesn't want to understand either. She should ask Starmer for a job, the perfect fit.
