How come nobody ever sees this guy doing these in such public places? Nobody ever has taken a phone video of a work in progress that I'm aware of.

And why does he get away with vandalising public, and private spaces with graffiti that anyone else who did it would be collared for?

If he was clearly right wing his graffiti would get washed off or painted over rather fast I bet!

Doing graffiti like Banksy does not take long; also, there is a team of Banksys.

You can scrawl obscenities, slander someone as a nonce on the walls of bus shelters, or put dirty limericks on walls in public places. Just don't paint your national flag.

Oh dear Rich. You've got the bug bad. Well listen, don't worry, maybe Starmer will have him jailed. The rest of us think it's wonderful, exciting, avant garde, different, making this dull monotonous life worth living. But hey, Maybe we should just all read the Express and promote blank walls.

What bug is that then DSC?

Read the Express, yuck no way, I wouldn't be seen dead reading that rag, nor the Sun for that matter. It's amusing the judgements people make because you have certain angles on things. I was actually brought up reading the Daily Mirror at home each day until I was about 17!

The Banksy stuff isn't very colourful, it's actually quite often dowdy monotone and often rather drab and grim to look at and far from uplifting. I find clean streets without litter and graffiti quite uplifting actually and I think you'd find many people would agree.

I do find the OTT hiding it rather daft. It's going to be removed, quite rightly. But how, jet washed off, gone. Surely they are not going to actually damage that listed building's brickwork to carve if off the site and take it elsewhere? That could have been jet washed off by the end of today if they wanted it gone instead of barriers and a couple of guys standing there like idiots.

As for the meaning of that graffiti art, I interpret it as a comment about the judiciary clamping down on left wing Palestine protestors in support of that banned group. It's funny when the judiciary clamps down on right wing protest with overreach that there isn't similar protest or Banksy art popping up from that perspective. I don't for one minute think the placard bearing floored protestor in the graffiti art is meant to be a migrant protestor for example, oh no, definitely not, it's a nod to all those hundreds arrested at the weekend bleating on about the trendy cause of the moment 2000 miles away from us.

I usually loathe graffiti but I love Banksy's work.

If other so-called "graffiti artists" were as good I wouldn't mind but most are like dogs pissing on a wall to leave their mark.

This must be a real dilemma for the Court..do they remove the work (currently now covered with a screen) and risk being called art vandals or cover it with perspex as most councils do to preserve the work.

Afterall Banky's works are considered really valuable now.

Bansky has pulled off a real coup here.

Yes I wonder too how Banksy and his team do it.
But he brilliantly makes his point - not seriously; there are many clearly deliberate mistakes. But as a work of fiction. Unless you condemn all graffiti - and I do some but not all - it's both artistic and makes a point like all satire.
The system is broken. Too many people are falsely accused, wrongly convicted and arrested.
Too many are Using the Law to Break the Law. And the system is helping them.

If you are part of the establishment, you can do anything, including vandalism.

And it's not graffiti nor vandalism. It's art! These champions of free speech really don't appreciate freedom of expression at all. And if they want a Right wing Banksy, go out and be one. I speak as someone who detested the Stop Oil orange paint vandalism. Because it was vandalism. Banksy is a genius. Still don't know who he is. Not sure I want to know.

Banksy may be facing police action for vandalism and his identity may be revealed as a consequence.

Your message whilst I'm sure being intelligent and apposite seems blank GM. Perhaps it's been censored by my government gremlins. I have just attended the protest on False Allegations and have spoken outside the Royal Courts of Justice about the mighty Banksy.
