these strange "steam" cigarettes Bill Wyman is seen puffing in full page national ads look very odd.

Would you ever use one if you wanted to give up?
They look terribly expensive and there is clearly loadsacash behind them.
And the big question - if Bill befriended your 13 year old, would you allow him to let her smoke one?

I'd never heard of these. I'd have to find out if they were harmful first. My 13 yr old's a boy, so the friendship bit wouldn't bother me much. Maybe Bill could teach him to play base, and how to make a million.

I actually gave up smoking for 18 years, my advice to anyone is never even start.
Any fake "harmless" cigarette is a first lethal step and is as disgusting an idea as the candy cigarettes that are given to children as a treat, which I also had, an used to get one when Grandad used to have a fag.

I remember 'sweet cigarettes' (before they were renamed candy sticks) and how we used to pretend to smoke them to try and annoy older people, but were always disappointed when they didn't fall for it. I was always chewing on them, but it never did tempt me to try the real things.

Our local newsagent did a good trade in chocolate cigars which came in a genuine looking cigar packet and were individually wrapped in cigar sleeves. I loved the butterscotch flavour. These, again, didn't tempt me to try the real things.

None of my family smoked either, so maybe, Mart, it was the scent of your grandad's fags which got you started, rather than the candy. Hooked by association.

Fags kill. But we all make our own choices.
I was lucky to give up New Year, but only after 30 years of gross stupidity.

I remember getting those chocolate cigarettes rolled in sugar paper that you could actually eat. It was quite a novelty been allowed to eat paper!! However It never led me to become a smoker, seems suca a terrible waste of time, it doesn't taste nice, doesn'make you feel better, makes you and your clothes smell, not to mention all the terrible health risks involved.

Although it has been scientifically proven to slow the heartbeat down. Hence idiots who do smoke tend to smoke as a stress suppressant.

Yes JK, I have seen this advert appear in the various newspapers and if they are to pick a person to do it, then I'm staggered it's Bill Wyman.

Not as if he is a good role model is he?

I don't smoke as I have never found it enjoyable.
