I think there will be more people supporting Wigan today than at any other time during the season.

My team became safe from relegation last week, so my only hope for today is that can Chelsea take the title from Man Utd.

I second that!! I'll be at the Bridge cheering on the Blues but in honesty can't see Utd slipping up. Still if we could score 10 each half we could nick it!

The only problem with todays footy , is how does one put the tv in the garden?
It`s absolutely glorious here, although rather inhabited by a lot of people, and yes, there are even tents in my garden!

Not having Sky, I couldn't watch the matches on TV, but the garden is full of kids, trampoline, balls (of various sizes), overfed blackbirds, numerous discarded toys and a lazing cat .. so I came inside and listened to 5 Live.

Oh well .. Man Utd won, but I'm glad it was Giggs who scored the final goal. He's one Man Utd player I have a lot of respect for.

Well the big winners were... Fulham (well done) and Christiano (excuse me Cat, our hero scored as we predicted, good though Giggs is).

Giggs was superb, but I predict a retirement.Hell, I know I would if I was him.

Giggs scored from open play. Ronaldo had to rely on a gifted penalty. Giggs takes the prize.

I agree he's past his best now, and he'll most likely either retire or drop down a level, or go into coaching. Despite today's goal, he doesn't have half his old speed.

Wigan should have had at least one penalty, but Chelsea failed to win so that became accademic.

Meanwhile my own team scored EIGHT. Only 19 goals at home all season and then we score 8 in the final game.

Quite right, Cat. I was at Pride Park when Derby played Man Utd. Giggs is the model professional, unlike Ronaldo's diving and cheating all over the place, and Rooney's charmless and constant whining at the referree.
