the funniest programme I have seen on TV this year.

The beheading was amazing - ridiculous.

Then after destroying priceless roman crosses and killing a couple of people the line " lets all go to the pub" was a pure classic.

Already on Digital Spy they are suggesting it may win Comedy of the Year for the BBC - and like them I cant wait to see what ridiculous things they get up to next week.

It is almost the Polar opposite to Dr Who which is cool near Sci Fi. This is pure PYTHONESQUE drama.

The BBC will probably have half the Islamic World and Christian world in meltdown tonight complaining about the way in which they were portrayed.

The funniest moment award goes to the "intern" as she lay on the ground about to be beheaded and started to sing Jerusalem to the Righ Wing Evangelical self styled Templar leader who had decided to bring a final judgement on her.

Crazy programme. Easily the craziest thing on BBC for years.

Oh dear, I like Julie Graham and had Sky+ this tonight.

Nothing wrong with the Actors and Actresses, but it was a very substandard plot. It was made from the makers of Life on Mars.
