The King Of Hits boxset is currently being debated at The Steve Hoffman Forum. Quite some love for JK here but the usual ignorance also rears its head...
Re:King Of Hits Discussion 15 Years, 10 Months ago
Bit of a mixed bag of comments. A few slices of igorance, especially from one poster who says they've never heard of any JK music apart from Everyone's Gone to the Moon. Where were they the past few decades? Even if you hated JK you had to notice him. "Bizarre fellow" - of course; it's the bizarre which gets him noticed, and the music which makes people buy his CDs.
Overall the response seems more positive than negative.

To be fair, the guy who said he doesn't know anything other than "Moon" is American. JK was not big in America like he became here in Britain so it is understandable for Americans to not be that familiar with the diverse run of 70s hits.
Having said that though there are quite a few Americans there who praise the set as well as Austrailian.
Expected ignorance aside, it's generally a favourable thread, proving that the music is still loved and enjoyed and nice little post near the end there setting things straight regarding JK's sexuality and case as well as a little plug for "Vile Pervert The Musical". The interest is certainly out there!
