This is my locality, and I have heard a lot of coverage on local radio about it.

An interview with a police officer did suggest that there has been some overstatement by the media. There were a couple of worthless individuals who soon moved on. It is unlikely the poor guy would have heard them anyway. It is a long way to the top of that building.

What sort of country have we created in the last 30 years.

I really dont recognise my country anymore - my partner and myself sometimes think we have been beamed to a parallel world.

We have a world raised on sick humour where no holds are barred for almost any subject. TV is full of it so we shouldn't be surprised if a few individuals have no morals.

I have deliberately not read this thread before as I did not like the subject matter, but as it has readers I will comment.

The kids etc that were jeering this awful event on probably did not understand what they were actually doing in a human mob situation and are going to hate themselves for a very long time and the event also for being so bloody stupid.

People that kill themselves are usually suffering from depression, depression is an illness. I wonder how many of the idiots have walked into work or college this morning claiming and complaining that they have a cold?
