Some of the earlier series are being shown on Dave. Forgot how good he is at getting the best from his subjects. A fantastic documentary maker and a dead ringer for JK. Scary!!
Yes - I'm a Theroux fan (not least because he liked my friends Saville and Hamiltons and hated Clifford) but his American prison show was his pinnacle so far.
Theroux's shows have mostly been very entertaining... just a small handful I didn't like either because I disliked the subject matter or felt that Louis didn't do it so well. Never seen the Max Clifford one because the sight of Clifford angers me but am pleased that Theroux didn't like him.
The Savile and Hamilton shows are for me, two of the very best and most fascinating documentary films I've ever seen and I have enjoyed them several times over the years. The Hamilton one particularly was fascinating showing how the media react from the centre of it all.
Though I doubt it would ever happen, I'm sure many of us here would love to see a Louis Theroux meets JK film!
