BROWN gambles 16 Years, 8 Months ago
No vote like in the USA - DICTATOR BROWN takes OUR money to shore up a system which has lost TRILLIONS supposedly.

If BROWN loses this money ( and the USA plan seems to be failing ) then we will see a 10p increase in income tax next year possibly 40p basic rate.

This should not have been done without Parliament - Brown has already spend

A caller on Radio 2 wittily worked out that - if the 50 billion needed to shore up the banks were distributed to us - we'd each get 833,000.

Which we could then put into a new bank WE started up - and lent to the bad banks in need of cash!

The caller was quite correct of course and this what we have done, it`s just that nobody asked us, or told us that we were a bank!

It's just been pointed out to me the math is wrong. Each taxper would get just under

I believe only around 30 million pay income tax. The rest are kids - oaps - unemployed or on disability benefit.

Therefore anyone who does pay tax probably is around
