certainly better than the last PM but that's not saying much !.
comes across as meek but in private reputed to be terryfing and demands total efficiency as he's a workaholic.
obviously highly intelligent..as a diplomat for 20 years he knows how to talk to people in power..he's run brilliant election campaigns for others.
He's untouchable with no scandals... has no hidden agenda apart from politics..his wife is worth a few hundred million so he's incorruptable. Big business hated him..now they love him.
He's a Christian conservative...which could be a bit alarming, but he's also the real thing...a compassionate one..not a phoney like Bush & those Republicans who claimed to be.
His father was a share crop farmer who died in a drunken car smash and the family were booted off the farm and lived in an old car for a few months when Kevin was in school so he knows what hard times are like. Always won scholarships to the best schools and University.
Whatever happens..Australia looks stuck with him until he decides to go. He's been the most popular PM ever..sky high approval rates that just aren't dipping despite all the "honeymoon will end" predictions..hated by
News Ltd but every attempt to undermine him backfires on them.
I reckon he'll stay about 7/8 years and handover to Deputy PM-the Welsh born Julia Gillard.
(he's a cult figure in China after delivering a speech in fluent Cantonese at the last APEC Summit that had the 200 Chinese delegation leap to their feet and cheer !. They're naming towns and streets and children after him...a million Kevin Chows
