Its alright for some living it up in Cannes, Did you see Spandau Ballet whilst you were there? Maybe you should have taken the £100,000 for the film. Could have been a bit of a poisoned chalice. whoever bought the rights to the movie would have had exclusive distribution and thereby the right to bury the film if they so desired. I heartily recommend two restaurants - La Reserve LouLou in Cagnes sur mer, next to Nice, is simple but excellent - I go there several times every summer, and the Palais d'Asie just further down the road; looks touristy but great Chinese/Thai food.
