Diversity are entertaining to watch, but I don't think they have touched the nation in the way that Susan Boyle has. They will be forgotten within a few months as their act has limited scope.

Well done Diversity. Innovative, inspiring, creative and just wonderful to see a group of kids shown inn a positive light for a change. SuBo looked relieved that Diversity won. She didn't look well, i thought she looked like she was on valium.

Agreed Angel; she took it very well, even relieved I think; before the winner was announced she looked like a serial killer or the woman in Misery.

Well done Diversity, they have obviously worked hard on their act. I also wish Susan Boyle continued success. Watching her perform makes your heart melt because you realise that it is a woman fullfilling her dreams of 40 years or more.

I was sure Susan was going to throw up and yes, as I pointed out on the other thread, she seemed positively relieved. Very gracious in defeat too. I admire her far more now.

An average Opera singer, a dancer with a sob story and a bunch of people in hoodies. So far BGT has proven that if there is talent out there they have failed to find anything of any substance. Maybe for the next series anything like Darth Jackson can be strangled at birth. BGT may be entertaining at times but as a talent show it stinks.

you have to hand it to Simon Cowell for re-inventing Hughie Green and Opportunity Knocks.

The series is as captivating as it was in first incarnation nearly 50 years ago.

Why would she be relieved about losing £100,000 and not winning a competition. She knows how much publicity she is going to get whether she wins or loses so surely she would prefer to win.

Maybe she was just relieved that it was all over.

I heard two things about Susan Boyle recently.
One is that ALW has plans to feature her in a West End show. The other is that she has a £6m deal to tour the USA.
Not sure how true either of these reports are.

Susan Boyle is going to be massive and sell millions of CDs. Winning the competition became meaningless for her almost at the beginning. Diversity were excellent and deserved to win. But Susan Boyle is the star and the one whom will be touring big theatres in her own right in the USA and selling shedloads.

She could become the biggest selling artist in the World. I certainly look forward to her CD and fancy that many people will be getting a copy of her debut album.

I really disagree. Diversity were just a humdrum dance act and I can't believe that anyone voted for them Susan Boyle should have won; she looks like a bag lady but sings great. I also liked Stavros Flatley.
