Zooloo - a frequent and sensitive poster - passed away on 10th August.

That's very sad. I didn't know him off the board and so have no idea how old he was or, in fact, anything about him. I'd noticed he hadn't posted for a while. Do you know if he had any family, JK?

I wondered what to write and searched my E-Mail inbox for a quote from himself, for such purpose, and I found a joke that he once sent me, which I think he would have appreciated the re-telling of. I reproduce it, word for word from his original mail.


"Saint Peter was greeting people at the gates to Heaven.
"What did you do on Earth" he asked one man. "I was a doctor."
Saint Peter says, "Great, go right through the gates and on down the golden streets. Next!" What did you do on Earth?"

I didn't always agree with Zooloo, and some of his arguments bordered on the bizarre, but I shall miss him.

Rest in peace Zooloo.
