I had heard about this in July. But now the Official Chinese State have revealed they have footage which they are going to examine.

It does look like that we have a 500 mile wide UFO ( Sitting outside the Earth's atmosphere ) that might be from another world or a USA research lab ?

It has taken the Chinese Government to be the first to admit that this is true. The USA Government and UK Government bizarrely have ignored the whole disclosure issue - despite thousands of people genuinely sighting weird things in the sky. But now with China having a HR 40 minutes taken through an observatory ( not on the videos - that was amateur footage ) it means they may be able to determine what is going on.

The announcement may take up to a year. But when it comes it will probably change life as we know it. We will find out that we ARE being visited by aliens and it will force the USA and UK to reveal what they know about this. The GARY McKINNON extradition is about shutting him up ( He found evidence of a secret space programme and alien craft )- otherwise why is the USA bothering and why are the UK going along with it.

THEY ARE HERE !!! It is only a matter of time before we will have to deal with this. Scary and exciting at the same time.

Where does the 500 mile wide claim come from? It must be a long way outside of earth's atmosphere if it's that big, otherwise we'd all see it quite clearly.

The 500 mile claim comes from the Chinese reports. The UK newspapers dont repeat that claim for some reason.

The object was outside the atmosphere. That is another reason why the Observatory will have the best footage and the video footage shown is from the amateurs featured in the initial Chinese TV report.

Real UFO reports rarely make the press. The Sun type of UFO ( usually Chinese Lanterns !!! LOL ) is phoned in by readers - sometimes with very blurry cheap mobile phone footage.

This is now an Observatory saying they have 40 minutes of film of this object. That is very important and it will be interesting to see whether it gets hushed up or we have to wait a year.

Alternatively perhaps the driver of the 500 mile UFO may come clean and disclose themselves

You're not seriously suggesting that something that big could go unreported for so long are you? I fthis were true it would be massive news. That it isn't speaks volumes.

Haley's comet, well outside of Earth's atmosphere, was a mere 9 miles x 5 miles and yet could be seen with the naked eye even in daylight. I think a 500 miles UFO would have been seen by millions by now. The chinese report says they have seen an object which they want to study before making any decision on it. That's not quite the same as claiming they've dicovered a huge UFO lurking above the planet.

More information today suggesting that most of China including the Observatory was in cloud that day.

I might add locked out that NO WHERE have I said that I "believe" this story. I await the footage before I believe it.

I find it hard to believe that you keep putting "Opinions" and "words" into my mouth ? to then heap criticism on them.

Many posts I put on here are for discussion. Just because I post something on the EDL or UFOs or BLOSSOM does not mean I believe it at all - they are just good stories for us to discuss.

This ( as far as I am aware ) is not a forum in which you have to "win" points and "prove" an argument. But one where you can report on something you have seen - whether on TV or Film or in life or News - and comment.

A 500 mile UFO which was near the moon would not be very big I might add. It all depends how far from the Earth it was. I have no idea why they have claimed it is a 500 mile UFO - and to be fair it sounds a bit strange.

But not as strange as the fact that NASA has not been back to the moon for 20 years - and have announced today they are unlikely to go back until 2050 at the earliest.....what is that all about ?

Nothing strange about not going back to the moon. It's just a lump of rock and not worth spending billions on, although India recently sent an un-manned mission there. It cost India approx. £40m and took place just after Gordon Brown had donated £40m in aid to India.

I guess building and equiping the space station and hubble telescope has taken most of the funding. Next intended stop for man seems to be Mars.

btw the moon is less than 2000 miles in diameter, so a 500 mile UFO next to it would be visible to anyone with an average telescope or even good binoculars, unless it's hidden behind the moon.

I have no idea whether this guy is right or not - we will just have to wait and see. As we know BLOSSOM GOODCHILD made a prediction which was totally bonkers but grabbed everyone's imagination. Time will tell and if he is right then of course we are some of the first people to be awake and aware to this. If he is wrong - never mind !! I suppose at some point in history this planet will be visited openly by other species. We cant be the only ones ?

I wonder if CHINA will announce it in conjunction with their "sighting" which in reality is a positive ID that there are UFOs which are just outside our atmosphere........
