I actually thought he made good sense but might not an objective observer have wondered if he'd be so hard on Sven if his son was in the squad?

...He has an incredible enthusiasm for the England team, and I`m sure that many remember him, draped in a George cross, sat outside the commentary box.
He was on the media team to comment when his son was playing under Sven, and was obviously chuffed to bits, so anything else must be dissapointing.
He`s a true England football man though, and has used the best part of his personality to remain popular.

It was indeed "The Rock" Marcel (Chelsea legend) although if big Ron had just said lazy bastard it would have been fair at that stage in his career. By that time he was picking and choosing his matches to perform in. Baba (another Blues ledge) now plying his trade at the Barcodes(Newcastle)was never lazy, just indifferent. Marcel does indeed offer a good and refreashing slant on proceedings. Big Ron should have been slaughtered for such an out dated disgusting comment, made worse by his "But I signed Black players" dickhead!

I think Big Ron is entitled to free speech and the world is entitled to disown him in return. You can't sensor thoughts and if they're spoken out loud you can take the consequences.I'm regularly the victim of prejudicial remarks for being Scottish/Irish (ignoramuses rarely can distinguish a Hebridean accent!). They can call me what they want.I wouldn't want them to lose their career over it, just an eye or two !
