Grim situation? 15 Years, 6 Months ago  
A special BBC News broadcast at 11am to tell us of "unprecedented" snowfall and describing the grim situation where drivers have abandoned their cars in 2 inches of snow. Were none of these people around in 1979 when our old Vauxhall Victor estate continued to roll along the roads in much heavier weather?

I'm amazed.

Note to BBC. It sometimes snows in winter.

That's front wheel drive for you.

We had a Victor,new 'L' reg in 1972,it had started to rust 2 years later when we sold it.
