What an extremely poor set of games today. A real pity that the draw can come out that way. I am sure that if the Ivory Coast had been in either Spain or France's groups they would have qualified. Instead they had to play Argentina and Netherlands whilst France laboured past Switzerland, South Korea and Togo!!!!

Having looked at the line up I am predicting the quarter finals as follows :-

Germany v Argentina
Italy v Ukraine
England v Netherlands
Brzil v Spain

Still strongly fancy Argentina, and maybe just maybe Spain could topple Brazil. Its high time this major tournament hoodoo was eliminated for the Spanish.

Well, 6 out of 8 not bad!!! Did change my mind yesterday and had a feeling about France beating Spain.

Looking forward to the Quarter finals at the weekend! And the tennis at Wimbledon of course, although i had a nightmare there on Monday - saw only 35 minutes play during the whole day - was terrible!
