Hopefully now that will be adopted for all sex allegations - if this had been the law I would never have been charged. Yes, a positive move. This bit of the report I found a bit odd: But the plan angered anti-rape campaigners who said it would do nothing to improve the conviction rate. What's that got to do with it?
