How very sad. I was about to type 'poor kid,' and then I realised he was in his forties. Says, maybe, not it all, but quite a bit. Really curiously from a moral standpoint: adopted, great early life, illness, fame, money, setbacks, ... It did all end in three dots, I guess. But I can't figure out whether he had a bad life or a good one.
