I enjoy watching it. My main problem with it is that it suggests that modern police are perfect - full of justice and fairness - when in reality they would probably love to be able to go back to the old dodgy methods.

Also, it does seem to have given itself a limited lifespan with the suggested coma angle. That has to end some time to prevent it becoming a drag. Alternatively, that could be a red herring and it's all really about a quantum leap time travel experience.

It is fun to watch though, even if he did forget that Marc Bolan couldn't drive.

Yes I'm hoping for a clever next week LAST SHOW... and it had better be good as they have commissioned a second series! 18 Years, 2 Months ago
Police today are much better informed as to what they can and cannot get away with and, likewise, have learned how to manipulate and twist and assist without any longer blatantly beating the shit out of people!

How will it end ? 18 Years, 2 Months ago
It's the talking point every where .... how will it end?
Will he come out of his coma, and then maybe go back into it again? Will he go into another era?

Brilliant Drama, well done BBC

i hate the moralising at the end every week. it makes my toes curl. the football one was ludicrous.

Best bit is watching for the obvious errors. All ticket matches in 1973? i don't think so.

Also , Manchester was the epicentre of bad taste hair and clothes in '73 (wigan casino). Yet this guy looks like De niro in mean streets
