I see I'm a Celeb returns on Nov 14th, (on ITV just after X-Factor with JLS, Westlife and Take That performing - great scheduling!). At the moment, the papers are suggesting the following celebs are on the show: Britt Ekland, Linford Christie, Limpek Opek, Stacey Soloman, Gail porter, Boy George and Lizze Cundy. John Leslie has also been mentioned as not appearing - so probably is! Ant & Dec, who make the show worth watching for me, are hosting once again.

It's such an easy gig for the two munchkin boys, who get wildly over-praised for their efforts. My heart sank when I knew Gail Porter is on this year. She keeps going on things that are famous for their cruelty, then sobs with amazement when they upset her. She was on Buzzcocks a few years ago and seemed astonished when they teased her. At least Opik will be worth watching for his sheer lack of shame.

I know the area well.

Germaine Greer owns a large property beside the filming area and often turns a hose onto the crew when they get on her nerves.

They have to import all those weird animals as it isn;t their natural habitat.

The only real things are the bloody great big f**king spiders which frighten the life outa me. No wonder Johnny Rotten fled after the first day.

Awful television. ITV can make Downton Abbey in one breath and this horrible stuff in another. Cheap, lazy, indulgent, crass. Sums up 95% of British Television these days to a tee.
