I actually do feel a bit sorry for this wench.In an abusive marriage she claimed her husband raped her,but after consequential sex with hubby she changed her mind,and decided she didn't want him prosecuted.
The police and CPS then put her under enormous pressure,and as a result her story changed back and forward,until she was tried,found guilty and given 8 months!

None of us can be sure of what happened,but given how serious the charges were against her hubby can you blame her for not wanting to proceed? The CPS/Police should have just left it there,but couldn't do that.

Problem here is that many times false allegations are made on the spur of the moment,we need a safety valve,where false accusers can perhaps back out,without fearing retribution.How many innocents are in prison when the false accuser realizes she must stick to her lies,or go down?

Interesting to note her anonymity still remains,just to show how stupid it is to only grant this to the accusers!

She should not be in jail. At worst she is guilty of stupidity. At least she rectified her first complaint.

Many people in an argument make silly claims - she did. She should not have to pay for that because she put the wrong right in my view.

The CPS gains nothing - the taxpayer once again loses and this poor woman is badly treated.

Crazy.

This is another story that I have trouble believing.
