Re:An "interesting" historic offence and verdict 13 Years ago
It brings to mind the 'you show me yours and vicsa versa' trick played on me when I was a bit younger and I complied and the others didn't, laughed and ran away. I'd probably get done for exposure if anyone.
Or could I claim historic abuse and compo by claiming I was abused by the other kids and deceived into dropping my pants?. It could explain all my problems today.! Surely the judge would agree.
On another thread there is the story of the Page 3 girl who died quite young. can we assume that having been a part of enterprise that included child abuse and the publishing of kiddie porn in The Sun helped contribute to her death ?.
Look beneath the surface and we can find historic abuse everywhere.

The sentence was ridiculous, its clear that this guy is not a threat or danger to anyone so why put him on the sex offenders register and ban him from working with children.
The guy was 12 years old when he comitted the alleged offences, If this is the way things are going then 90% of the population are going to end up as convicted sex offenders.

The awkward thing is surely if we insist that all minors are innocent children then - at 12 years old - so was he. A state where one can be imprisoned for merely being intrigued is truly warped.
Unrelated, but Excellent 'current' verdict in the Sharon Shoesmith case incidently. Not so much relevant here but can't be bothered to start a whole thread. Scapegoat? No More (hopefully).
