Another weekend of football is runined then. With all this modern technology how comes the country comes to a stand still in Winter ? Steam trains worked perfect if it's not broke then don't fix it.
Two weeks without football feels like the summer to me.

Looks like it !
I think we should start wearing frocks ... I've come to the conclusion that you Scots are so shocked (if the rumours are true!) by the cold in the nether regions that you dont notice cold hands and feet !!!!!
I had a very nice walk last Sunday in the snow, beautiful bright sunny day, if a little cold.
I look forward to seeing how you lot cope. If you cant deal with a blanket of snow then God knows how the weekend is going to turn out. Don't fret, we'll after things whilst you're away. A mini independence if you will.
Just back from the most most miserable journey to and from London I've ever had in my life. Via Liverpool Street, except we sat there near Tottenham Hale for 50 minutes, then, after 30 more minutes (thus missing all my meetings) were dumped off and told to use the tube, which wasn't working, then just got back to King's Cross in time but there were no announcements on the train so I spent the first half of the trip in terror I'd got on the wrong train. This is the 21st Century and our trains are a damned disgrace. I could have wept.
I had to get a train late last night at King's Cross as the snow came down. Freezing cold, eager to get home. No signs or announcements, so we boarded the train and waited. One of the people working on the train turned up and ordered us out and told us only the first four carriages were for us. As we got out, another worker told us to get back in as all BUT the first four carriages were for us. Then an argument broke out between the pair, whilst we stood shivering on the platform. One of the men decided to call someone, while the other one asked a passenger if he could have one of their biscuits. Then the message came back that we were in the right carriages in the first place. Just imagine the chaos we'll have when the Olympics are on! I love this country but my god we can't do anything without cocking it up!
Very true, London be hectic including in Kent they be running car schemes so that elderly people can be there this Olympics be worst ever and we billions over budget, ticket sales just been cock up after cock up, media is covering up saying we in line on the revised budget that still over budget you morons. We should never of bidded and stayed away and let France run it they have lots of sport arenas and cost them much less.
We Brits are such drama queens where the weather is concerned. We love the word 'Siberia' when it gets a bit cold and 'Sahara' when it's getting a bit warm, as if our weather was anything like theirs.
I don't think WE are drama queens. The media are, though. AOL had some headline at the start of the week saying 'Another mini Ice Age?' Three days?? An age??? They need a slap!
