Agree totally.

I do not like Abu Qatada (but am not sure whether its caused by my personal dislike of someone who apparently wants to live in this country but refuses to integrate, or whether I have inadvertently been influenced by the media) but either someone is guilty of an offence or they are not ... there are no half-measures.

The present laws have kept us safe for more than 1000 years - through 2 world wars and a civil war - and the principle that someone is innocent UNTIL proved guilty beyond a reasonable doubt has served us well.

By tampering with the system it proves we have lost ... and the terrorists have won.

the idea that all 60 million inhabitants of Britain are integrated is odd if not quite bizarre. Who sets the standard ?

The day I had to 'integrate' with Chavs and Tories I'd shoot myself.

Perhaps wrong choice of words.
I meant "fit in" with our standards - not keep rebelling against them (after all, IF you dont like how we live - why come here at all?)
