I heard that Teletext has banned letters criticising government policy, and letters questioning the legitemacy of terror claims. I read teletext every day and it is noticeable that, even at the height of a "terror alert" such as this one, most letters are about trivial matters such as bikes on pavements, etc.

BBC Ceefax stopped publishing letters on current affairs a while back.

Can someone with connections to TV please let us know whether there is any truth in this rumour.
