Stephen Wright of the Mail now - a really crucial witness I reckon; by far the best crime reporter and the one most likely to drag the Mail into the drama - or, more likely, avoid it - he's very bright (and very bald).
As I feared, the best witness so far in managing to avoid and prying he didn't want - the only witness to leave large sections of silence whilst he considered the questions (or, it struck me, the possible implications of the wrong answer).
One of the things I enjoy about the Leveson Inquiry is how we can start seeing through the image of individuals - the real people start shining through, whether or not they would like it.
Patrick Foster sounds like a fascinating character - he got in touch with me a couple of years ago about the terrestrial broadcast return of the Record of the Year (which sadly hasn't yet happened).
