It's quite clever in the way it pretends to follow the paranoia bandwagon but does the opposite .. except that the real message was probably wasted on most people.
Remember watching something similar at school but was a short film from the early 80's with Timothy Spall in a blue jacket, showing girls his Rubix Cube. Between each scene the narrator will shout right or wrong and explain why it would show scenes from Defender a Atari classic in the background.
Brass Eye was funny all the clues that the celebrities were being stitched up were obvious.
