This family have previously had publicity - described once as the family from hell. Locally the police have been much criticised for being too slow on this case.
Imagine the comeback had they charged grieving parents without sufficient foundation.

The fact that they have finally moved indicates that they feel they have sufficient evidence and are on safe ground, no ?

Or are they completely stupid? (no need to answer that !)

I see the parents have been remanded for a further 12 hours for more questioning.

The funeral of the six children is expected to be a massive occasion and the largest possible church is needed.

The largest church in Derby is Derby Cathedral - but it is CofE whereas the family are Catholic.

The Cathedral has agreed to hold a Catholic service.

Back in the 80s a Methodist minister once said something to me in a debate about some religious matter,then added...'if God exists of course'.
Of course if god does not exist...will he qualify for unfair dismissal when he looses his job?

The six Philpot children were buried today.

The local community had raised £11,000 to pay for the funerals (as their dole scum parents would not have been able to pay for them).
