Like that Angel. But generally I totally disapprove of these media/society witch hunts. Not because they are unfair and undeserved (which they are) but because,by giving FAKE figures for the Ten Minute Hate (read 1984) we find we are distracted from the real sources of our problems.
That's why Leveson annoys me - and I fell for it too. I thought it could really achieve something; it's just another smokescreen.
Our "democracy" is totally broken; as broken as the "Arab Spring dictatorships" - and we're addressing the problems in a similarly simplistic and unfocussed way.
And it s going to lead to another expensive tax-payer funded inquiry which will tell us what we already know - a need for separation of retail and investment activities which was originally done in the US after the 1929 crash, but abolished after 1998. Of course nothing will be done because the Government is frightened that banks will leave the UK in droves because no other nation is making any reforms.
Spot on Foz - if we can see it and it's so obvious why on earth do the Etonian Idiots running things not see it and do something about it? Answer - because it appeases the media and appeals to the simplistic moron slogan politics the majority of the public understand.
Say it in black and white in as few words as possible and the voters will be happy if you have good teeth and lots of hair. Doh.
When Der 'Angel' Merkel sorts bent Western Economies a new order will emerge from Deutschland Uber Alles - lost the war, won the peace, saved the world.

Thank You, Noo Labour (and Mr Balls !!!!)
I've never been a gambler, but if someone offered me a deal where "if I win I keep the money, and if I lose they will bail me out" - I'd start tomorrow
If there is something you dont want to be caught out on ... launch an inquiry !
That way, whenever someone brings the subject up you can say "the XXX inquiry is looking into that, let's talk when the inquiry has concluded" .... and sweep the matter under the carpet.
When the inquiry eventually reports (a year later) everyone has forgotten what it was all about.
